Lonnie’s Story

Lonnie Mears is a 26-year veteran in the employee benefits marketplace. His experience as an independent businessman in the construction industry prior to entering the insurance field gives him a great deal of insight into the day to day struggles that his business insurance clients face. His dedication to service, and a deep personal interest in his clients and their employees has been instrumental in his success.

Lonnie has based his career on carefully listening to the clients wants and needs, evaluating them, and then delivering more than promised.

Lonnie was raised in Waco, Texas where he attended high school prior to moving to Austin and the University of Texas. He moved to Fort Worth in the mid 1970s and has made it his home since that time. Lonnie is married to a great wife and has been blessed with three wonderful children. He is an avid outdoorsman, and a strong supporter of disabled veterans causes, First Responder service groups, and youth groups such as 4H in the Shotgun Sports.
